From Online Workouts to Cruise Ship Step-Ups
Sherri first joined us back in 2019 in person. Like many of our members, she was consistent and motivated — even sticking with our online workouts during the peak of COVID. But life got busy, and she, like so many, tried to make at-home workouts work. Eventually, she realized something was missing — community.
Fast forward to today, and Sherri is now one of our 6AM CrossFit regulars. Rain or shine, vacation or not — she’s getting it done. One of our favorite Sherri moments? Watching her tackle the HERO WOD “Chad” (1,000 step-ups for time) on the balcony of a cruise ship, using a coffee table. Now that is dedication.
From Fitness to Fueling: A Life-Changing Shift in Nutrition
While her fitness stayed strong, Sherri noticed her body was changing. What used to work no longer felt right. She reached out to Coach Jacqui, saying, “I need help,” and dove into nutrition coaching — head first.
What happened next? A complete transformation:
- 🔥 18.9 lbs of fat lost
- 📉 Body fat percentage dropped by 8.4%
- 📏 21.5 inches down overall
But it’s not just about the numbers. Her mindset around food, energy, and fueling her workouts has completely shifted. She’s no longer guessing what to eat or how to fuel her body — she has a plan, a purpose, and powerful results to show for it.
Stronger, Bolder, and Ready to Compete
Through this journey, Sherri’s confidence has skyrocketed. She’s lifting heavier, challenging herself more, and stepping out of her comfort zone — competing in both CrossFit and Hyrox competitions. For those unfamiliar, Hyrox is a global fitness race combining functional movements and endurance, and Sherri crushed it.
She’s living proof that you’re never too late to commit, change, and thrive.
