We are thrilled to spotlight Sonia as CrossFit Durst’s Member of the Month for September! Sonia has been part of our community since 2019, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring.
When she first joined, Sonia started out in our regular CrossFit classes. After some time, she realized she wanted more personalized attention to really accelerate her progress. That’s when she transitioned into our Semi-Private Training Program, where she trained with her dedicated coach twice a week alongside just a few other members. With that extra focus and tailored coaching, Sonia thrived—hitting new milestones and getting stronger week after week.
Sonia is an absolute pleasure to coach. She’s consistently one of the hardest workers in the room, always giving her best effort with a smile on her face. Beyond her drive in the gym, she’s also incredibly kind-hearted and supportive of those around her, making her a cornerstone of the Durst community.
Recently, Sonia switched back into regular classes as she prepares to travel back to India to visit family. But she’s already excited to return and jump right back into Semi-Privates when she’s back. Oh, and did we mention? Sonia also just hit a huge milestone—200 classes with us here at CrossFit Durst!
Sonia is proof that even with a busy career and the demands of family life (she’s a businesswoman who also prioritizes home-cooked meals for her loved ones), it’s possible to carve out time to prioritize your health and fitness.
